Elemental Status of the Elderly and Senile Population of the Western Region of the Republic of Kazakhstan

🎯 Project Goal

To conduct a comprehensive assessment of elemental status and macro- and microelement supply and determine their relationship with functional status parameters among elderly and senile residents of Western Kazakhstan.

📈 Expected Results

  • 2025
    Assessment of functional status and macro- and microelement intake among elderly residents of Aktobe and West Kazakhstan regions; sample collection; publication of one article or review.
  • 2026
    Assessment in Atyrau and Mangystau regions; sample collection; development of elemental status cartograms; participation in international conferences; obtaining one copyright registration certificate.
  • 2027
    Publication of a monograph (atlas); participation in international conferences; completion of a PhD dissertation; obtaining two copyright registration certificates.
  • At least two papers or reviews in journals indexed in Science Citation Index Expanded and/or Scopus, and at least one paper or review in a journal recommended by the Committee for Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education.
